Medjugorje Update By Terri Smith
Good morning from The MIR Group on this Sunday September 20th 2020. Wow what a year so far! If you know me, you know what you will get in any article or writing is simply a conversation as if you were in the room with me. If you are an English major, I will drive you crazy. I write like I speak and would love to afford an editor but really there is no money in this for me, only heart and a deep seated love for Our Lady and Our Lord. I am Catholic in every cell of my being. I am not militant about it. I actually think that is ridiculous. What was militant about Jesus, Our Lady, God’s love, even the ten Commandments are not militant but guides to obedience that will bring us the true-ist depth of happiness. If God wanted to control us in some militant way, then he should reconsider free will but then again- Jesus gave his life for his belief in our free will to love and serve him. Oh, I digress. We can do free will another Sunday if you are interested but for now, Medjugorje. Below you will find the latest message from heaven to her children.
Message, 25. August 2020 “Dear children! This is a time of grace. I am with you and anew am calling you, little children: return to God and to prayer until prayer will be a joy for you. Little children, you do not have a future or peace until your life begins with a personal conversion and a change to the good. Evil will cease and peace will begin to reign in your hearts and in the world. Therefore, little children, pray, pray, pray. I am with you and intercede before my Son Jesus for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
As we find ourselves in September still dealing with Covid 19 and other challenges of our world, I continue to get more and more questions about Medjugorje. I hope to answer some of them here for you. First, Mirjana’s apparitions of the 2nd of the month. Mirjana’s apparitions began as an everyday occurrence on June 24, 1981, along with the other visionaries. Her daily apparitions of Our Lady ended early on December 25th,1982. At the time of her daily apparitions ending Mirjana was told by Our Lady that she would have a yearly apparition on her birthday every year, March 18th. On August 2nd 1987 Mirjana began having special apparitions on the 2nd of every month for her mission which is to pray for the unbelievers or those who have yet to feel the love of God in their lives. On March 18th of 2020 at her annual apparition, which will continue for life, Mirjana was told that Our Lady will not appear to her any more on the 2nd of the month.
The special apparitions on the 2nd of the month are the ones that came to an abrupt end this year. Why? Well maybe we are left to ponder that exact question in the light of faith and truth. Our Lady in all these years has never changed our faith or the truth of our faith. Our Lady has done what a Mother does, guides us, teaches us, warns us, encourages us, and believes that we have what we need to face the world we live in through prayer. She has never and will never abandon her children. When I am silent as a Mother (and please do not see any unintended comparison to Our Lady, I am a work in progress like all of you) it is because I do not want to control my children, and because I believe that I have taught them truth and they need to learn to live that truth in their own lives. As Mirjana always reminds me, with our hands in Our Lady’s we cannot fail.
The only other news that is relative to this time that I would like to state is that Marija who is the one who receives the messages for the world on the 25th of every month, said that Covid 19, the Coronavirus, is not from God but is an evil. Let us remember that the Crowns we align ourselves with are worn by Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior and by His mother and ours, the Queen of Peace. Let us remember that the Eucharist is God’s gift of himself. All healing, all power and all glory are present in the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the Eucharistic heart of Christ. May Saint Raphael the Archangel of Healing bring Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, and Political healing to the United States of America and to the entire world!!!
